17.21 WOMEN is a digital and physical archive centering East and Southeast Asian women throughout history—by me, Doris Hồ-Kane. 17.21 WOMEN was established online in 2016, but the physical archive has existed since the mid-90s, when I began archiving as a teenager. This newsletter is the long-form version of the digital archive that previously lived on Instagram. It's my love letter to the women who came before us. A forthcoming book based on my research will be published by Penguin Books.
